They were elected through democracy - one of our British Values.
We had 12 candidates run for the four roles. Each candidate had to present to their year group why they should be elected, after which we held an anonymous vote.
The level of candidates were extraordinary and we are so lucky to have such amazing pupils at our school. Well done to these four successful candidates!

They then carried out two workshops - one with KS1 and another with KS2. As part of these workshops they welcomed children on to stage to have a go at creating a band and trying some of the instruments.
The children had so much fun and the atmosphere was amazing. Letters went home today explaining how to sign your child up to these lessons should you wish to do so.

They visited The Globe Theatre where they completed a Macbeth drama workshop; had a trip on the Thames Clipper followed by the London Eye; had a tour around London stopping at the main sights polished off with all you can eat buffet at Pizza Hut, Leicester Square. The day was then finished with the totally ‘wicked’ Wicked. This was a huge highlight of the day thoroughly enjoyed by all! It was truly magical and definitely deserved its standing ovation!
